Richard Kay is a picture specialist and a director of Lawrences Auctioneers, Crewkerne.  After studying History of Art at St Andrews he has worked solely in auction rooms, beginning his career at Sothebys in 1987 before being appointed Regional Director at  Phillips Auctioneers in 1995. He has been a director at Lawrences, one of the country’s largest independent Fine Art auctioneers, since 1999.
