Sidmouth Nature Explorers in Sidmouth Town Cemetery

On Wednesday 1st of April a group from the nature explorers were joined by some volunteers from the Cherishing Sidmouth Cemetery group, for a wild plant and flowers hunt in the wild area of the town cemetery.
It was a cool and cloudy morning, but 12 of us braved the weather and had a very productive day, finding 37 different plants and quite a few in flower; also 9 different birds and one lonely violet oil beetle .
All in all a very good morning, showing the cemetery is a good habitat for plants and various wildlife
