Magic & Sparkle with Joe Stilgoe
Christmas just isn't Christmas without the BSO's Last Night of the Christmas Proms concert!
What is Christmas if not a time to reconnect with old friends… so we’re thrilled to be joined once more by the wonderful pianist and singer extraordinaire Joe Stilgoe! Joe will be showcasing his musical talents with a hamper full of Christmas musical goodies alongside all your festive orchestral favourites, and a first half of classic jazzy treats.
Joe works regularly with orchestra across the UK and can be heard extensively on radio, having hosted and starred many times in BBC Radio 2’s Friday Night is Music Night, while also being a regular presence on the station (Joe Stilgoe – Christmas At The Movies, Jingle Bell Joe, One Night Stand at Ronnie Scotts), and being a regular guest and presenter on JazzFM, Radio 3 and Radio 4.
Prices
BSO concert "Christmas Proms" promises to be a lively entertaining evening once again.
Tickets are available and will include 2 course pre-concert meal (optional) and transport by coach.
The pre-concert meal will be at 5.30pm approx. and the concert starts at 7.30pm
CLOSING DATE for receipt of payments will be THURSDAY 29th OCTOBER 2026.
We are obliged to pay for all reserved tickets after that date.
- £70.50 upper circle centre seats Rows D E F, with a pre-concert meal
- £52.50 upper circle centre seats Rows D E F, without a pre-concert meal
- £65.50 upper circle centre seats Row G, with a pre-concert meal
- £47.50 upper circle centre seats Row G, without a pre-concert meal
- £49.50 rear stalls Row W, with a pre-concert meal
- £31.50 rear stalls Row W, without a pre-concert meal
Prices include:
- Return coach travel from Sidmouth to/from Exeter University, leaving Sidmouth Triangle at around 4pm and returning around 10.30pm (NB: times and pick up points to be confirmed nearer the date)
- 2 course pre-concert meal (optional)
- Upper Circle or Rear Stall seats

About Your Reservation
- Initially you are requested to confirm your interest in taking part in the trip, using the Event Organiser link above or at the top of this page
- You will also be able to sign up at Stowford meetings.
- Once the details of the trip have been confirmed, you will be asked to confirm your reservation and make payment.
- Reservations are on a first come/first served basis.
- Once confirmed by the Event Organiser, reservations will be held for a maximum period of 7 days after which time, if payment has not been received, the reservation will be cancelled
- Reservations remain provisional until full payment has been received and the booking confirmed by the Event Organiser.
- Once a booking is confirmed, payments are non-refundable other than in the case of:
[a] the event being cancelled
[b] payment received after the end of the 7 day reservation period and the event being fully booked
[c] where we are able to resell your place
[d] extenuating circumstances, which will be reviewed and approved by the Social Committee.
