This Month's Talk: Author talk with Graham Hurley

This month's talk is by Graham Hurley, an award-winning TV documentary maker who now writes full time.

Graham's bestselling Portsmouth based Faraday and Winter crime series has twice been nominated for the Theakstons Old Peculiar Crime Novel of the Year. The last in the series, Happy Days, was published in February 2012 by Orion.

The tenth in the Spoils of War series, Kane, was published in June 2025 by Head of Zeus. The first novel in this series, Finisterre, was shortlisted for the Wilbur Smith Adventure Writing prize in 2017.

Graham lived in Portsmouth for 20 years. He is married and has grown up children. He now lives in Exmouth, Devon.
