This Month's Talk: The Forgotten Art of the Picture Postcard.
This month's talk is by James Taylor, former curator of paintings, drawings and prints at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich
James has published and lectured widely on marine and maritime themes. For this talk, he looks at popular themes for humorous postcards, some of the masters of the medium, and also the reasons why their popularity with the British public eventually waned.
